Cal's is average at best. We have eaten there twice having 4 separate entrees and none of them were that great. The burgers were similar to fast food and the sandwiches were just average too. The prices are too high for the quality of food that you receive. One positive is that the fries were piping hot and had been freshly prepared.

This place is great! Some of the best Philly Cheese Steaks and Gyros that I have found in OKC. Very friendly staff and the place is decorated retro.

Real Italian Beef! It rocks. Makes you remember food from the Chicago area. The dogs are not Vienna Beef but they are very good. Go for the Italian Beef, Italian Sausage or the combo. Really nice people running the place.

Just arrived from Chicago 2 months ago.. & this establishment is 100% authentic. The sausage is just like Maxwell Street Polish. And the Beef satisfies that Portillos craving! JUST GO!!

Not bad, not outstanding. I have no major complaints. They make a decent cheese steak at a reasonable price. It would not be my first choice but you could do a lot worse. If you want something quick and cheap then it's a good deal.

My husband, son and I ate here today, March 14 @ 3:00. We ordered Gyros, meatball sub and fries. As former Chicago residents we traveled here from Moore, on the recommendation of our son and were NOT disappointed!! The food was superb! The service was superb, we had an excellent time reminiscing with the owner, and the cleanliness of the facility excellent. We will be back for hot dogs and wings! As far as cost I would rate this as being less than other places especially since the portions were HUGE! Great for families, even better for DATES! We will definitely be regulars!!

I was recommended to this place by the people at Red Carpet Car Wash. It is just about a 100 yards from there. The owner greeted me and took my order. Well I guess I should say I left the ordering in his hands as I do most of the time I try a new place. He got me the steak and sausage sandwich and made it spicy for me. I have to say I really enjoyed the choice. It took me 5 napkins to get through the meal. I can tell he really cares about his customers. That in it's self is very refreshing. I am going to see if I can get my relatives from NJ to stop by here and tell me what they think and how it compares to the sandwiches in NJ, NY and PA. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Next time I think I will try the pickle fries and gyro.

Not too bad. Bought a groupon so I could try this place and it's kind of pricey for mediocre sandwiches. I ordered the Italian Beef and Sausage, along with a Philly Cheese Steak. Both orders came with a good amount of french fries. Not too busy (maybe because I came at an off time), but fast and friendly service. The italian beef and sausage sandwich didn't have anything special about it, just regular meat and sausage, thrown on bread, with pickled vegetables. I feel they need to put the vegetables on the side. The juices from it causes the bread to be soggy on the bottom. Philly cheese steak was my favorite between the two sandwiches. Meat was tasty, hot, sauteed vegetables and cheese on top. It was really juicy, didn't seem oily to me. I would like to return and devote my stomach just to this sandwich!

The Philly beef wasn't all that good. The beef was past it's prime, dry and tasteless. The onion rings were just average. Nothing special about this place in a land of plenty of choices. For the quality, it was definitely overpriced. I'll keep driving past this place.

Great local restaurant! I love Chicago style food so this place hits the spot. Just opened up near my office and I've already been 3 times. The Italian Beef and Sausage sandwich is awesome. I'd also suggest the Pickle Fries. Can't wait to try more stuff on the menu! I recently have tried the Mozzarella sticks, and Philly Chicken. I was hooked on the Italian Beef but now have a new favorite. The bread is always fresh and the chicken is quality for sure. Love the toppings too.

Had the Gyro & fries, very dry and the cucumber sauce was very bland, fires were just plain nasty. Glad to know it's available, but not on my next to frequent list.

I work for Pepsi and we dropped off the Pepsi at Cal's today and we got a gyro. They where so big and packed with meat. They where probably one of the best gyros I ever had. the owner was really nice. So yes I will be back here with my family and I'm telling everyone I know about this place. #Jordan

It's not Al's Italian Beef, but definitely a Portillo's flavor. Nice to have a lil bit of Chicago in the OKC. They really need to get some pizza puffs though. And some wings & mild sauce. Will be coming back, I did enjoy my italian beef combo. Clean inside, nice decor, fountain drinks. Good fries.

Most of the food was frozen. Very cheap tasting. The employees were very nice. The sausage was good though!

I lived in Chicago 41 years! Bought hotdogs from street vendors, bought Italian beef by the tub in grocery stores Cal's is the real deal!! I'm here once or twice a week. Beef, sausage, dogs...all perfect!! I've brought my wife and she loves it too!! The people running this place are very nice, friendly and cool.

As a Northern transplant, this is the only place in OKC where I've found real Chicago style food! Generous portions, clean, great service. The gyro burger & Italian beef with sausage were huge. Onion burger was fantastic. Very reasonable prices. I spent more on pizza the night before fire 5 of us than I did for our lunch for 5 people.

Took my sales team to Cal's for lunch and two days later returned for more. This is legit Chicago food made by a Bears fan from Chicago....how could it not be good? The Italian Beef & Sausage is great! Order it wet. The Chicago Dogs...boom! My favorite city brought to OKC. LEGIT

Just tried this place last week and wild horses won't be able to keep us away! So good! Anxious to try more things on the menu. Words of advice: if you like fried pickles, try theirs!! Just do it.

Staff was very friendly and the wait for food was very short Honestly I would've been willing to wait longer for better food. It wasn't nasty, it just wasn't anything special. My wife and I each got the philly and it left a lot to be desired. My wife didn't finish hers, and not because she wasn't hungry. My personal opinion is that the sandwich would've been much better if on a thick, hearty, French style baguette and not on a warm, chewy hoagie roll. We got the jalapeño poppers also and they were mediocre. The cheese was still semi solid inside (I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be melty). The jalapeño had absolutely no kick whatsoever. Again, the staff was nice, and the place seemed pretty clean and quick, but as the first non-family/non-friend reviewer it definitely is not a 5 star establishment. Especially if yelp is only currently rating Hideaway Pizza as 3 stars.

My husband and I had Cal's for lunch last week. My husband ordered the Gyro Burger (1/3 lb Angus beef with Gyro meat, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce) because of the positive reviews. I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger (1/3 lb Angus beef with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup and mayo). We also shared an order of onion rings. Let me say, our burgers were more than enough especially for the price. The Gyro Burger was huge, and if you are a meat lover, I highly recommend this burger. I had a bite of it, and the gyro meat tasted delicious. My burger was good especially the bun. My only drawback is the beef on my burger seemed more like a frozen patty rather than being a hand-formed patty. The onion rings were great. I definitely plan to come back and order the Gyro or something else on the menu. There are certainly plenty of options. Come give this place a try.

Love this place!! My husband and I just got in town and found this gem! Absolutely amazing food!! My husband and I are both from Chicago and now live in Colorado so when finding a place that has such great chicago style food was so awesome . The owner is great to, very friendly. So if u are from okc or just passing thru and enjoy supporting the family owned businesses this restaurant is a must. The italian beefs are soo good and the gyros here are 100 times better than Brandons gyros or a pizza place gyro. We will be going back again before we leave!! Thanks for the great food Cal!!

Great new place in NW OKC. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & the owner was even there to talk to us. Had the Italian Beef wet with hot peppers. It was excellent. I also got the mozzarella sticks. Sauce is not traditional, but still good. Had a bite of a Chicago Dog too. Great dog with good flavor. Definitely recommend checking it out
